Implementation of AskHR

The ASLS division is pleased to announce the launch of a case management system for the Human Resources department. AskHR will assist HR staff in acting on faculty and staff questions and requests while logging and managing our responses in a timely manner.

The system will help us identify areas where we may need to provide additional support, enhanced communication or training.We are asking for your help in making this a success. If you have an HR-related question, there are three options:

• The online AskHR submission form. When completed the form will be routed to the appropriate HR employee for assistance. You can access the AskHR system through the Human Resources home page.

Be prepared to provide:
• Your full name
• Your eight-digit employee ID number on your earnings statement, not on your ID
• Your phone number and email address
• Your department name
• As much detail as possible about your issue

Once the request is logged and receives a case number, it will be assigned to one of our HR specialists and an email will be sent to the customer verifying the request. HR will strive to reply to inquiries as soon as possible.

When an inquiry, request or problem has been resolved, the system will generate a survey link that will allow for immediate feedback on our service. We hope this customer service approach will further strengthen our ability to serve the campus.

We believe the new system will promote efficiency and expediency. It will help us manage our resources more efficiently by identifying areas that would benefit from backup and cross-training.
