Quiet Study 

This is a quiet study floor. Please turn off all mobile phones and electronic devices.

Use a group study room for Group Work.

Main Collection

Main Collection  Library materials are organized by the Library of Congress Classification System, an alphanumberic system.
  • Search Search@UW to find an item and its call number.
  • Call numbers A-H are on 5th Floor;
    J-PR are on 4th Floor;
    PS-Z are on 3rd Floor.
  • Signs indicate the call numbers shelved in that stack.

Group Study Rooms

Group Study 5th Floor  Two group study rooms are located behind the fifth floor restrooms.
  • Allows for collaborative learning and practicing for presentations.
  • Equipped with white boards and the ability to screen share.
  • The rooms are painted an energizing green color on two walls.
  • There are also group study rooms on the first, third and fourth floors.

The rooms are not for individual study.

Online indexes are available to search Stout publications and local cemeteries.
