Brief Biography

Carol is a former classroom teacher and school counselor who is now teaching at the university level in the field of school counselor preparation. She is currently the Department Chair for SCOPE which includes the School Counseling, School Psychology and Special Education programs.

Teaching Interests: Carol teaches several of the foundational core classes in the program that include Professional Orientation, Pre-K through 12 Counseling Curriculum, Practicum, Assessment Lab and Internship Seminar. Carol supervises student interns in the field at their placements throughout western Wisconsin. Carol's teaching interests include preparing school counselors to teach classroom and small group counseling lessons; test administration and test score interpretation; and advising and advocating for the student athletes.
