What is the 4 Health of It program?

4 the Health of It

This UW-Stout Counseling Center program provides self-help information and services to the UW-Stout community in form of hands-on seminars, classes and discussions. It has targeted the four most common areas of health stressors for the campus community including:

  • Stress Management and Maintaining a Healthy Mood
  • Maintaining and Building Healthy Relationships
  • Maintaining and Building Healthy Eating and Exercise Routines
  • Alcohol and Drug Education

How is it a different kind of program? >>

This program is unique in that each step is catered to prevention versus treatment. It appeals to a wide audience and provides a de-stigmatized way for individuals to receive information and act on information without the pressure or shame that can sometimes be associated with seeking treatment.

It is also designed to allow campus members the opportunity in meeting others who might be dealing with the same stressors and build supportive networks within the campus community. 4 the Health of It is a program that understands how stressful college can be and provides help and services for a better and healthier college experience!
