UW-Stout offers online, distance delivery and on-campus programming to meet your needs.
With the federal legislation mandate requiring Head Start teachers to earn their bachelor’s degrees by 2013, University of Wisconsin-Stout is meeting a critical need by bringing their nationally recognized Early Childhood Education degree program to Head Start teachers living in the Hayward, Wisconsin area. Courses are delivered in a traditional classroom. Some courses also have online work in addition to the classroom sessions. UW-Stout's Early Childhood Education program prepares instructors to teach in a variety of settings including infant toddler, preschool, kindergarten and primary grades 1 through 3.
The current cohort group is closed. Head Start teachers who started in 2009-2010 are following a degree completion sequence. No new applicants are being accepted to this degree sequence.
